Work items can be planned, i.e. pulled when capacity is available and committed based on estimates, or recurring, i.e. done before, having clear instructions for manual execution. Both take time and should be tracked. Recurring can be automatically scheduled to the work item tracker, including size estimate.

Network should out effort in automating recurring work items, using planned work items. Continuous improvement.
